Bad Analog Dimming Module ?

I think I may have a bad dimming module in my relay box. Everything was fine until last night and I noticed that my daytime LEDs were not dimming as evening went on. The Blues were dimming fine. Tried resetting (powering off) the controller a couple of times. When the timer finally turned off the po...

This is a great idea - anyone have the code pre-written for this (if the pump is on port 8 ). I have been thinking of this for awhile.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I was just thinking the drivers would last longer not being powered 24/7. But not a big deal and I like DrewPalmers point about freeing up a relay :)

LED flicker at Power Down

I have my LEDs dimming to zero (MeanWell Analog) and then the power shutoff about 5 min later so that the drivers are not powered on 24/7. Everything works great but when the relay turns off the drivers I get a lighting show in my tank for about 1 - 2 seconds. This did not happen when I was using ju...

Re: finding stray voltage

and remember (I learned this the hard way) it can even be something that is not on. My problem is stray voltage from my chiller, but not thru the tank, it is some other way. It is tied the the computer and USB cable to the RA. Start by unplugging your USB cable and see if your RA starts reading the ...

Re: Strange Problem - Low PH Reading - USB Leak

Robert - Again you are correct. It is my Chiller that is causing the problem. I never checked it before because it was plugged into a RA relay that is powered off. The chiller has no connection to the water. It has water lines but they drain when it is not running. It has no probe in the water (I am...

But I will try again.

Re: Strange Problem - Low PH Reading - USB Leak

More information: I have now moved to a PC laptop. I loaded everything up and the client is up and running. PH is still reading 1.92 or something close. I unplugged the power brick to the laptop. Bam, PH is back to normal. On wall power, no go. On Battery power - go. This is the strangest thing I ha...

Strange Problem - Low PH Reading - USB Leak

I am fighting a very odd issue with my RA. Robert and I have been discussing in messages but I think we are both out of idea's so I thought I would see if someone has any input. I have an RA that I setup about two weeks ago. All was working great and the PH probe was reading correctly in my tank. I ...

Loaded it INI - It fixed the issue with the error on loading the memory page. That works now ( although it has wrong information in the fields). It did not fix the upload to the portal. Same error. Re: portal problems?

No Joy :) - So I just learned the hard way that you have to have ReefAngel.Portal ( "userid "); in the controller code for it to load the wifi module. I removed the key in both the controller and Client and still not working. However I should mention that the LABELS did update on the porta...

Re: portal problems?

I am just setting up my Client Suite as well to talk to the portal and am getting the same errors in the log as Bogdan.
I have my portal name and security key in both the Client Suite and in the Controller code.
Do you need any port forwarding for the client to work with the portal ?

Thanks

Have you tested it ? I know wireless is wireless and never as guaranteed as a wired connection but these d...
