Re: "Last Update" not equal to Live date
I am using a favorite on my tool bar for the portal. After posting the previous thread I closed the second tab that was showing the proper current data, clicked my favorites shortcut on the one and only tab open and I got the May 17th data again. I opened a second tab hit my favorites button and rec...

Re: "Last Update" not equal to Live date
Here is a twist...
I opened the Portal screen again today withonly one tab in IE open, with the exact same results as yesterday, the May 17th data.
I refreshed it, no change. Went to this thread... Opened a new tab, went to the portal and wallahh I get the proper data.

Now it changed... are you pushing magic buttons over there? I have been checking most of the week while I have been away and figured my IP had changed. Using IE 9.0.8112

Re: aquastyle online diy led's
My apologies for being slightly off topic here. I am thinking of ordering an Aquatsyle LED kit for my 72 bowfront. However the website is being blocked by my Malwarebytes antivirus software. Any ideas? THis is the first website is has full out blocked me from.

Re: aquastyle online diy led's
Sebyte, your OHM's law is spot on. Voltage is the same across each branch of a parallel circuit, with the amount current going down each path is determined by the resistance of that path.
Re: PH Probe
I had to calibrate mine twice. The first time I saw the spike in my PH readings when i did the calibration (in the graphs) but then my readings went back to what they were before I calibrated. I figured my tank must be low so I spent the week doing daily alk and baking soda buffering and the needle ...

Re: Power outage alert
What about a 3vdc supply? You said not more than 5vdc, so what is the LO threshold that indicates loss of power?
You are very right about the 5Vdc wall warts, I checked several and they were all off. Most were in the 7vdc range. One of my 12vdc supplies was actually at 17vdc!

Opened the box and now what?
Disclaimer: This is my assessment of how it should be done from my one experience setting this up. I did not start from scratch with a different PC and make sure this advice is spot on. The rest of the forums are your best source of answers and are by far more complete than what I am writing here. A...

Re: ReefAngel Client Suite 2.2
One last question then... How do I tell what I want each relay to do? In the RAGen I can understand how I tell each port what to do for each profile. However I don't see how to do that in the Client. I.E how do I define the MH Light to be relay 6 or heater to be on Relay 7, etc...? The Client is com...

No like this
This is a pic direct from the Client, which is the same as the manual. But your picture is what I am testing the outlets to be functioning as.

Re: ReefAngel Client Suite 2.2
Obviously I am new at this but... I used the client to adjust the relay labels today and they reversed the outlets they were suppose to turn on. When I turn on what is labeled Daylight (relay 8) relay 1 turns on. I labeled Relay 3 as skimmer and relay 6 is on, Relay 1 "Sump" turns Relay 8 ...

Re: New User Must Read Posts
The tech support is awesome! I am up and running, woot!
Steve, open device manager and look at the com/LPT ports... note which are COM ports and which are SERIAL ports. I only have one serial port (COM1 for me). That is the one to use in Arduino/Tools/serial port selection.

Re: Power outage alert
Any suggestions on how to hook up to a APC battery back up system? I currently have one on both my PC, router and another on the tank. There are 4 outlets (out of 8) on the UPS that are battery backed up. Here is what I am thinking... -use one of the non-battery backed outlets with the suggested wal...

Matt hit the nail on the head. This stuff needs to be re-organized. I downloaded all of the user manuals and printed them and reviewed them while waiting for my...

PWM Controlled Fans
I haven't seen this anywhere else so I thought I'd ask. Is anyone using the PWM output to run fans? IE make the fans go faster when the tank/lights are hotter and vice versa? This would help provide a more consistant tank temperature overall.
