Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
Thanks for the reply binder! Just the information I was looking for! I am not worried if they drop off at 6%, even on a potentiometer they will only dim down to 5% before cut off.

Re: Meanwell D drivers?
That might be a workable solution to use the 48p until I get my RA. I just don't want to spend $300 plus on LED's and not be able to use them once the fixture is built.

Re: Meanwell D drivers?
So I just wire the 10v supply up to the dimmer wires to feed the the voltage at 100% and adjust the SVR2 to dim until I get my RA?

Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
Will they work correctly? Or will there be choppy dimming, etc?

Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
So bottom line, will the 48D's work with the new PWM to analog cables?

Re: Meanwell D drivers?
My worry is that I need to be able to dim my drivers in the interim while I save for my RA. The only way I know to do this is with a complicated ardino DIY'ed controller... use the SVR2 to adjust dimming while u wait for ur reefngel. then when u get ur RA, just readjust SVR2. Will the drivers ever ...

Expensive shipping
I am just curious why shipping is so much...I know times are tough, but shipping on a controller and some pwm wires..15.95! That just seems a little outrageous to me... Is there a handling charged figured into that or something?

Re: Meanwell D drivers?
Well, PWM is a digital technology compared to analog that has been around for so long. The same way that you see everything going digital and abandoning the analog technology, I also believe the same applies to dimming signals. Just my opinion and if you still feel that the analog is for you, the P...

Re: Meanwell D drivers?
In my opinion, I think PWM is much better technology than analog, so I vote "P" :), but the driver itself basically work just the same. Why is the P superior to the D? I have heard that the D drivers have a lower amperage cut off than the P's which gives you more dimming capability...I am...
