Re: Alexa Control
Seedlessone - are you working on this? I was going to pick this up as a side project but ran across this thread.

Re: Older Versions of Mac Reef Angel Installer
Didn't seem to. I was able to program my RA, but not connect to the Wifi adapter. I broke out an old windows laptop I had and was able to get it connected though. Unfortunately I upgraded to the 4.x firmware that requires manual intervention. I'll give it another shot and see if I can get it to talk...

Older Versions of Mac Reef Angel Installer
I need an older version of the reef angel software so that I can use the wifi utility on my mac (no more windows devices in my house). Unfortunately - the old link I had bookmarked doesn't seem to be working anymore: download.reefangel.com/download/ReefAngelInstaller_1.0.8.dmg Anyone know where the ...

Re: ZeoVit Dosing Mode
I wish I could. Unfortunately, my ZeoVit reactor is not one of the automated ones, so I'll have to manually pump them. After I posted, I had a thought. Why not just use water change mode since I don't currently use it. I'll just add a timer on it to stop the skimmer for 30 minutes after the end of w...

ZeoVit Dosing Mode
Hello, I just recently started the Zeovit program. Part of the recommendations of ZeoVit is to have the reactor placed after the skimmer, so that the bacteria "mulm" that comes out of it during agitation doesn't get skimmed off and makes it to the corals. Unfortunately, with my setup, this...

Re: Device Placement Advice
You can extend the dimming ports too :) In one cat6 cable, you would be able to run both channels + and - (4 wires) and the temp probe (3 wires) . Just splice them with simple but splices and they will be good enough. I would just recommend you get the 10ft temp probe, since it has additional compo...

Device Placement Advice
I have a dedicated "fish room" (garage) that shares a wall with my basement that my tank is against. I've been trying to keep the whole setup as clean as possible (wifes rules). Here is what I currently have for the tank that will be under RA control and location: Garage: Skimmer Return Pu...

Re: Salinity Probe drops to twenties randomly
Try cleaning it with white vinegar. Thanks for the advice. I soaked it in vinegar overnight, and although that didn't fix the problem, I believe I found the problem, and it's probably a first :) Before I stuck it in the vinegar, I flipped it upside and noticed that there was a pod inside of the pro...

Salinity Probe drops to twenties randomly
Hello, I have a salinity expansion that has been working great for a couple months now. Out of nowhere, I noticed that it was showing the probe was getting a reading of 27 while in my sump. I followed all the advice I've read here. Re-calibrated, put in a cup of tank water for a day, etc. It seemed ...
