Re: Water Level ATO Delay
Thanks for checking and replying! I really just want to be able to tell it to run only once per hour or once per half hour. For example. If the water surface has a ripple to it the ATO will keep going on and off with the waves. I don't like the relay and pump having to turn on and off so many times ...

Water Level ATO Delay
I should know this, but I'm either too slow or too tired to make it work. How can I add in a delay so that my water level ATO will only run once per hour? My code: #include <ReefAngel_Features.h> #include <Globals.h> #include <RA_Wifi.h> #include <Wire.h> #include <OneWire.h> #include <Time.h> #incl...

Re: Controllable Dosing Pump?
i have the reefangel ones. if you can't get them, I'd go with the brs ones. almost all the pumps could be controlled by the reefangel as long as they are controlled by power going to them. make sure you understand the flow per second rate of the pumps when determining how long to run them. Controllable Dosing Pump?
What dosing pumps are you all using? I'm interested in the Reef Angel pump, but it appears to be out of stock. I hear good things about the BRS 1.1. Amazon and Ebay have lots of super cheap options, but I don't suppose they are very consistent or good quality. I'd like something that can be controll...

Thanks for clearing that up!cosmith71 wrote:IIRC, it's Port, Timeout, Low%, High%, Delay. So your code is using Port 7, with a timeout of 3600 seconds, turns the pump on at 10% and back off at 100% with no delay specified.

Re: ATO Timeout--pump still running!
Thanks Colin, I didn't realize that about the ATO light. Maybe that is what was going on. I'll see if I can do a little testing, but this does make sense. It's been a while since I worked with the ATO code, but I was under the impression that the second number controlled the delay before the pump wo...

ATO Timeout--pump still running!
I just discovered that my ATO pump runs even when the controller is in ATO timeout! I had some trouble with my water level meter (was leaking air) so the readings were not accurate. This caused the ATO to run non-stop, and I found out that the pump wouldn't turn off even when in timeout! I fixed the...

Re: Gyre control
Does anyone know if I can buy just the pump and icecap, or do I need the Gyre controller as well? I see the pumps are sold on their own, and I could save a bunch of money if I didn't get one.

Wifi Attachment not working
Hello,
My wifi attachment light is solid red and orange with an occasional blue flicker. Does it sound like it's dead? It's not working and I'm not sure what to do with it.

It just occurred to me that every time I turn on water change mode i would also like to have the sump light on. Anyone else run into this and have code to make it happen?
Thanks!

Ah, I understand it's a pain to program, and had heard somewhere that it was controllable. The price is what is attractive for a 4 channel doser.

Jebao doser connection
Is anyone using a Jebao doser with the Reef Angel? If so, how do they connect? Maybe I just didn't put in the right keywords, but online information on this seems to be very limited.

What heater(s) do you like to use with your Reef angel controller?

Re: Countdown timer for relay
Yep, when I toggle the relay from the app it opens the relay for the set amount of time (60 minutes currently) and shuts off again. It then runs automatically every two days for 60 minutes. I'm using this code to control a solenoid on my RODI system. It refills my fresh water container on a regular ...

Re: Countdown timer for relay
Here's what I ended up with. It runs for one hour and repeats every two days. , I have to wait two days to be sure it actually repeats, but I think it will: int repeat=2880; // in minutes int runtime=3600; // in seconds static time_t t; // Manual mode if (ReefAngel.Relay.isMaskOn(Box1_Port6)) { Reef...

Facepalm
I thought that having two boxes meant I had a box 1 and a box 2. After reading your comment I realized that box 1 is actually my second box. After that came together it was simple to change the time values and remove the "else" line and it's working perfectly. Thanks!

I don't get an error, it just doesn't do anything. When I toggle the port it stays on and never turns off unless I toggle it again.
