Re: IO Expansion
Use momentary switches. That way you never take the risk of leaving it on. if (ReefAngel.IO.GetChannel(0)) ReefAngel.LightsOn(); if (ReefAngel.IO.GetChannel(1)) ReefAngel.WaterChangeModeStart(); Thanks! Good point on the momentary switches. That's what I have on the HighAto port to get it into wate...

IO Expansion
I'm sure this has been answered, but I can't figure out how to make a good IO Expansion code. What I have is two hard switches that I would like to do a few things. Switch one: lights on mode, Switch two: water-change mode, but resets after about 5 minutes (in case the switch is left in the on posit...

Blues onwith Switch
hey guys. So I use my Pacific Sun Doser for my ATO. Since I have that, I figured a good thing from my I/O ports is to give them a switch. I'd like to have my Radions go into only royal bluws, with the flip of a switch. I know I can do it on my phone, but often times around the tank, my hands are wet...

I don't think that's something you can even do on the Reef Link

RF expansion
Is the RF expansion still a thing?
Is it worth the money over the Reef link?
I have a Vortech, Vectra, and Radions.
I know we can't control the Vectra yet, but I would like to have my RA controlling the lights.
Opinions?

Re: 2 RAs on same network
I think I see what's going on. Even tho I set up port forwarding, my router is still refusing connection to port 2010. I'm still using my stock Xfinity Gateway. And it sucks. Even tho I've set up port forwarding and DMZ, I don't think it can handle having two ports open so close together. I'm pullin...

Re: 2 RAs on same network
They would have different IP internally so you'd just have to forward a different port to the second one. So port 2010 internally would point to RA2 on port 2000. If your router doesn't support that you can change the port on the wifi module to 2010 as well. That's what I'll have to do. How do you ...

yea, other than stealing RA's module!

Re: Using a waveline Return pump like a Vectra
ReefAngel.DCPump.Threshold=30; That will set the minimum. We dont have an upper but you could easily add one by setting your speed to your desired setting. The other part we could use the tide class to set your variation and still allow you to select your mode. I'll write some code up this weekend....

Using a waveline Return pump like a Vectra
I'm setting up a frag tank, and I have an extra Waveline 1200 to use on the system (I know, alot of flow) Since I have the extra Waveline, I decided i was going to use it like a vectra, and have it ramp up and down through-out today. I figured i could just use the Dcpump class, and have it on Reef C...

Ive switched between 3 probes I have, all new. Is there a chance some stray voltage has zapped all 3? One is a BRS lab graderimai wrote:It seems the board is fine. It should be around 550.
Not so sure why you are getting wrong results with the probe.

Re: PH unstable
If pH readings are showing zero when calibrating, there is something wrong. It should never be zero. PH unstable
My pH seems to be really unstable.
Even in a glass of tank water it will stay at 2.02.
When I go into the pH calibration, it gives me a 0 for the reading. And then sometimes it will bounce back to 8.23 (Normal tank pH)
New probe and relatively new RA plus.
