Re: Ph probe interference?
Ok. I did a big water change etc on my tank today. I reset reef angel and immediately the ph went up to 6.7 (still wrong but closer). The protein skimmer was the only thing off at this time. As soon as the protein skimmer turned on the ph dropped down again. Now when I turn off the skimmer shouldn't...

Re: Ph probe interference?
Thanks for the reply. That's what I initially thought so I ordered a new one and the new one is having the same issue. The new probe calibrates fine and reads fine if I put it in a cup of tank water.but if it is in the tank it doesn't read correctly.

Re: Ph probe interference?
So I tested my gfci for ground and it is grounded. I then tested for stray voltage and found only .1 volts. I then added two grounding probes to the tank hoping it would help aND it didn't. Any other ideas? Maybe it's just the magnetic field of those pumps? But that wouldn't explain why the reading ...

I'll test for stray voltage and see. It must be one of those two pumps. Or both.

Re: Ph probe interference?
Also, my ph probe is brand new and when in buffer it reads 7.0 and 10.0 respectively. Right now I unplugged everything from the relay one by one and put the probe in a cup of tank water. unplugging everything did not help. The ph probe was stuck at 6.02. I tried my code with and without my line with...

Ph probe interference?
Hi all I'm having trouble with my ph probe. In my sump or display it reads a solid 3.02. But when I calibrated it or put it in a cup of tank water it is accurate. Also when I unplug my skimmer or my return pump from the reef angel the probe is accurate. I'm thinking it's interference or a ground loo...

PH Probe failing?
Hi there My PH reading steadily declined in the past week and is now stuck at 1.42....obviously my tank's ph isnt 1.42 and when I went to calibrate using american pinpoint fluids, the readings are stuck at 0 and the ph still doesnt change. I am soaking it in vinegar as we speak, but do you think the...

Re: PWM Expansion Coding for LEDS
Ok...tested again...When it is on 30% it is at 3, when it is at 100% it is at around 9.5V so apparently it is working
Also, the multimeter is reading correct for the lights.....
Thank you!

Re: PWM Expansion Coding for LEDS
I edited my code a little. I took out the constant speed in the evening since it didn't work. So now they alternative from 30-100%. When I look at the reef angel head unit it shows that the pwm is in fact supposed to be switching back and forth, but I don't believe they actually are. I put my hand i...

Re: PWM Expansion Coding for LEDS
Hi Roberto After doing some investigative work I am wondering if it has to do with my ground. I have two tunze pumps plugged into the dimming expansion with a shared ground reference in port 6. I then have 5 ldd drivers using channels 2-5 and using the ground reference in port 7 which is connected t...

Re: PWM Expansion Coding for LEDS
I did not check voltage....The tunze pumps that are on channel 0-1 are analog and they are reving up and down as they are supposed to. Channel 2-5 are pwm.

Hi all, I just built a new light and I am having trouble getting the lights to dim...They are super powerful so they have to be dimmed so I don't bleach anything. I am using meanwell LDD drivers and they are connected to the Dimming Expansion Module. I was also told that the GND from the pwm expansi...

Re: Controllable Pumps - Tunze?
Alright...Heres my report.... I think the night mode works. The PH probe is getting a correct reading now. But the randomized flow didnt work so well...The pumps were switching their flow every second or so and it seemed like they were having a seizure....Is there a way to modify that code to make i...

Re: Controllable Pumps - Tunze?
Hi Roberto,
Happy thanksgiving...I uploaded that code...didnt seem to work...The numbers I got in my test were PH 7.0 - 285
PH 10.0 - 460...Those numbers seem way off from what you had and what others seem to have...but now when I calibrated it my ph is showing as around 5.5...

Re: Controllable Pumps - Tunze?
You are the best! It works great! Is there a way to do the following: 1. Make a night mode where the pumps switch to really low power (30%) 2. Randomize the flow Then, I just calibrated my ph probe two days ago, and now it is reading 4.9...it was calibrated correctly...is there a way to manually ins...

Re: Controllable Pumps - Tunze?
Hi Roberto,
Opened up the head unit...There is only one jumper on the RST pins....I dont have them for the SDA or SCL pins..Where can I get these from?
And I only have channels 0 and 1 hooked up, but I think we found the problem...
Thank you so much
Nick
