Re: RA* USB Power
I've never had an RA+. I started out with the RA*. I did purchase two RA controllers that I was planning on using for another tank. Are the power supplies the same? I've only dabbled in USB but can I build a cable and power it though the USB A ports? https://forum.reefangel.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&...

Re: RA* USB Power
RA Star micro USB.jpg <heavy sigh> Since I've been using the Cloud Wi-Fi hub, occasionally they get out of sync and I have to cycle the power on both units to get might lights to work properly. So I didn't have to unplug power from the RA* directly, I added a right angle micro USB adapter (pointing...

RA* USB Power
Need a little electronic help. The micro USB header in my RA* came loose from the board so there no power. It's been a while since been on here and could someone point me to a schematic/pinout/advice so I can get it powered back up. My only concern right now is temperature, as I can't find my backup...

Re: 2nd Salinity module w/Cloud Wifi Hub
Will do. Figured it was my code and maybe I just didn't notice it before we did this salinity addition. Any thoughts on the power cycling? It's not that big a deal as I'm usually not around when it happens. And.... let me know when you might have time to program the Cloud Hub to control the lights d...

Re: 2nd Salinity module w/Cloud Wifi Hub
Roberto, I isolated two things with regards to the lights using the PWM16E coding. The cycling of power occurs when the lights are changing states. Re: 2nd Salinity module w/Cloud Wifi Hub
Good Afternoon Roberto, The lights were on dim this morning, unfortunately I didn't have the Cloud hub connected to a computer. The 16ch lights didn't come back on with the power off/on. That said, I think there's progress with the Salinity probe. A note here: I found have to make sure I do a certai...

Re: 2nd Salinity module w/Cloud Wifi Hub
I uploaded my code via the wizard and and uploaded your code to the cloud Wifi Hub and tried calibrating it. Something(s) didn't go quite right though. Once I uploaded to the RA* via the wizard my lights began shutting off every couple/few minutes or so; it is shutting the power off on each outlet a...

Re: 2nd Salinity module w/Cloud Wifi Hub
Once I uploaded the code to it the hub produced that output via the serial monitor and then went dark. As in, the light wasn't on at all, I had to upload the previous code that you posted to get it to respond again. Side note, now the UAPP doesn't work for me now. I get 'Cloud server: Connecting...'...

Re: 2nd Salinity module w/Cloud Wifi Hub
Good evening Roberto, I tried doing all of the steps again and still have the two main issues. 1) Cloud wifi Hub will no longer auto-connect to cloud server if power is disconnected. I have to use a paper clip to enter setup mode. 2) Information from attached salinity module doesn't make sense. - sh...

Re: Can i turn on/off a port based on water level?
Ahhh... still learning the functions too and the ReefAngel.Relay.Set() function is a logical TRUE/FALSE. But how do you accomplish the range of port ON that is desired using it? The original goal was on at or below 85 and off at 95. The first condition is met but the second isn't. I added the check ...

Re: Can i turn on/off a port based on water level?
I would suggest modifying the functions to account for a malfunction of the water level sensor/module combination. if ( ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) <= 85 && ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) > 0 ) ReefAngel.Relay.On( Port7 ); if ( ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) >= 95 || ReefAngel.Water...

Re: Can i turn on/off a port based on water level?
I think you only need: if ( ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) <= 85 ) ReefAngel.Relay.On( Port7 ); if ( ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) >= 95 ) ReefAngel.Relay.Off( Port7 ); The number in the ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel() statement would be the number of whatever level sensor your using for the re...

Re: Can i turn on/off a port based on water level?
This the ATO code that I use does what I think you're looking for. The time functions allow it to be active only twice a day. Hope it helps. // ATO/Water functions - Begin if ( ( hour() == 6 ) && ( minute() >= 45 ) && ( hour() == 6 ) && ( minute() < 48 ) ) { if ( ReefAngel.Wa...

Readings are odd. I put the second probe in the display tank next to the DT probe (which is stable @30.3) and am getting values from 215 to 8; currently averaging 80.
