I don't believe so. What did you have in mind using dual control?

Re: Control Multiple Radions Independently?
You can set one up on a virtual tank (i.e. have each light configured on a different tank) would work on Reef Link.

Re: What is the best way to code a port to run 3 times a wee
You have an impossible condition: minute >= 20 AND minute < 5. Those 2 conditions are mutually exclusive hence nothing happens. If you remove the " &&minute()<5" clause you should get something between 21:20 and 21:24:59.

ATO low/high as output.
I have a 1300 watt heater (3 Finnex elements and a Ranco controller) in my system that I plan on interfacing to the Reef Angel with a relay (http://www.powerswitchtail.com/Pages/default.aspx) driven with either of the ATO outputs. What is the drive capability of these outputs? Any other alternative ...

Hey Guys, Here is a video of the RANet module controlling a RANet ready relay box. Re: RF Expansion Radion Control Issue
I just went through the same thing and found a copy of libusb0 on line. Of course all the standard caveats when getting something on line. I'd suggest you wait until Roberto confirms that an update may help before taking that chance. Do you use radions? Had a similar issue with getting them to resp...

Re: RF Expansion Radion Control Issue
Troubleshooting continues... So after you do a factory reset, does it pick up the RA's RF module signal right away? Or does it go to 10k/14k/whatever and you have to press something? I'm 99% sure I am in basic mode as I can change modes from 6.5k-20k, but still not seeing what the RA RF is sending....

Re: expansion module issue
The system has been stable over night with no failures. looks promising! Oddly enough (to me anyway not being overly familiar with the design of the system) the salinity probe has been producing a stable reading. With the exception of a few dropouts, it has held within a +/- 1 PPT range. Prior to th...

Finally, after an hour arm wrestling with windows (missing libusb0.dll error and others, none of which I got yestereday) I finally got the firmware update programmed. Sorry for the rant  . Re: expansion module issue
The RF needs to flash red when updating. It behaves the same as when you are updating your RA. It blinks red for several seconds. The important thing is to remove then RF radio. Without removing the radio, the module will not update. Make sure to edit the file and change the COM port to the same on...

Re: expansion module issue
I woke up to a red flasher this morning with both the RF module and Salinity module attached. I reset and removed the Salinity module.
So far I know that the 3 USB cables are good and the RF module is good when connected directly to the relay box.

I performed the firmware update on the RF module. I was expecting some activity on the LED as I executed the batch file. I didn't see any and assumed the update failed. I put the module back together and hooked it back up through the hub and no failure has occurred in the last few hours? All seems w...

I've already implemented the RF.cpp change. The (byte) cast, if I remember correctly. It looks like I caught it on the day you posted it (1/8). I have yet to look into the RF module firmware update.

Some people had some issues with the RF module too.
You may also need to update the update the libraries until the next release.

I've taken the RF module, which I know is good and tested all 3 USB cables I have (plugged directly into the relay box) for a minimum of 3 hours each without failure. With the expansion hub in line, failure seems to occur within an hour.

That does look like a problem with your hub. Are the connections all tight and good? Can you try a different usb cable between the relay box and hub? expansion module issue
I've been bringing my Reef Angel back to life after a year of being dry. I've experienced a bus lock issue when using the expansion hub. The wizard's code generator does that. I've experienced the same thing. I solved it by just leaving that field blank in the RA wizard.lnevo wrote:Your DDNS line is wrong. It is supposed to be a comment but a backslash by mistake. Change the \ Your DDNS to // Your DDNS

Sorry about that. You need an extra open paren in the port8 expression right before (now())

Re: Multiple on/off times
That's true but you are dividing by 21600 not 1200. If you added 21600 to the now() expression it would have no effect as you stated above. But when you add a smaller value (1200 in this case) to now() you shift the "on" window 1200 seconds earlier in time. When you subtract a value you sh...

Re: Multiple on/off times
The first line (port5) turns that port on every 6 hours at 12 am, 6 am, 12 noon and 6 pm. To shift it an hour ahead you would have to change the expression to (now()- 3600). In the 2nd line controlling port8, the expression (+ 1200 ) should be (- 1200). Otherwise the logic is fine. Sent from my Sams...
