Re: USB Port.
Whats your take on the power supply wiring. I tend to want to switch it to the way the box without the USB is .Due to that box has never failed and the other one has twice. Any replacement power supply?I don't see them in the store. If so PM me. Thanks again.

Re: USB Port.
Here are the 2 boards one with the usb added then other not. They look the same to me ,but Im not the expert. I see that one is PWM. ? Also I noticed the white wire to the power supply goes to a different terminal in the box? I added the tape due to frayed wires.I added some extra soldier also.Shoul...
Re: USB Port.
Power supply is duel voltage output.12vdc 2a and 5vdc 2a.I just took burnt supply packs apart that I had. I've gone through 4 maybe over 10yrs in 3 different relay boxes.I dont run anything that draws more then 10amps. All seem to fail on the 12vdc side.Would running 2 separate supplies be any bette...
USB Port.
I was wondering what I would need to do to add a USB port to my really!old relay box?If its possible. I had one done years ago by Roberto, but Hes the Man! I am down to my last relay box due to gravity and a overactive skimmer :( I dried out the other relay box but its dead. Its power supply is sold...

Re: Dimming module
After .50 there seems to be no difference? I'm at .33 now .Moonlight stops working at .25 . Is it because I'm using a dimming module not a lunar module to control it?

Re: Dimming module
Thank you for that. i got that dialed in and run the dimmer module power off a standard light outlet to give me the on/off control. Is there a way to force the ATO to run for a set amount of time(like 3 sec) when needed "true"but also still have the time out of 10 sec. in place? My small t...

I have seen to have misplaced my DC adapters foe my expansion modules. what is the required amperage output?
If I remember correctly do all expansion modules need to be plugged in that have the DC port?
Thanks

Lightning Strike
Lightning strike just killed my unit. I wanted to say thank you to Roberto first of all for what I think is a great product. Also to all the others that have helped with my inability to learn the code 8-) . I'll be back but it might be awhile this might be the straw to start the wind down of my tank...

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
Yes I am very happy. Hasn't acted up in 24hrs. Thanks for your help.I had to order another Ferrit bead because I borrowed one found my wifi subwoofer. i ordered 5 and plan to put one on every cord that enters the water. At $2 apiece cheap insurance.

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
I add a Ferrit bead to my pump cord and ballast cord and problem Has stopped. I'll update in a day.
Still had issue. Moved bead to ATO lead. It stopped instantly. We'll see.

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
And buying more modules right now is not going to happen. Just had to replace 2 failed modules and added one new one one that seems to have made my ATO not function. I guess tomorrow I will start unplugging stuff to test the bus theory.I sure hope it doesn't prove out.

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
I do believe it's stray something. But like I stated I can duplicate the issue out of the water. Just putting it by my cheap T5 ballast. So my thought is since it's a magnetic switch ,like the OP suggested is it electro magnetic? I'm sure my cheap ballasts are pumping that out. Moving switch 24 inch...

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
Ok. I know this is going to sound funny but if I put the float switch near my cheap T5 fixture it does the same rapid relay toggle. ? So is it possible to shield the ATO cable ,circuit? Any ideas. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. No I don't have old code. Computer crashed and used wizard and my notes to recreate. I have tried 3 switches. 2 I just received today from ReefAngel. I'm running out of ideas. Has there been any library changes to ATO that could explain? Over last 2 yrs? It had been running smo...

Prior to changing code the float switch had worked for years. Now seems ok until it touches system water. Display or sump.

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
I'm having the same issue. Switch anywhere in sump cabinet you hear random toggle. Even out of the water When I remove switch from cabinet and set it on the ground it's fine. Switch is 4 hrs old. Old switch was doing the same that's why I bought new ones. I had to change my code to add power expansi...
