Re: ATO Timeout issue (SingleATOlow)

Wow thanks for the quick reply guys! I'll swap the drum and let you know if changing the switch did the trick! It seems there are 2 possible levels for the retaining ring. Any idea if lower or higher is better ? As for the code, since I'm using the Wizard and internal memory, it doesn't look like mu...

ATO Timeout issue (SingleATOlow)

Hi, All has been working as expected since I setup my RA except for the ATO. Using 1 floatswitch, SingleATOLow, code generated by the wizard on port 6 I got what seemed to be logically working. Manually triggering by pushing on it confirmed all worked well and respected the time out (or so it seemed...

Re: Evergrow/Reefbreeders LED 0-10v expansion dimming

So I've managed to make the dimmer work with the standard PWM (Analog in this case) channels on the RA and as expected, analog doesn't dim to 0% but that's find. What bugs me however is the high pitch whine sound that seems to be heard only at low %, I don't recall hearing that before. In fact, oddl...

that's exactly it! awesome, thanks.

Re: Evergrow/Reefbreeders LED 0-10v expansion dimming

Random thought (and probably stupidly obvious) - I'm about to butcher my Marsaqua and realised I couldn't find any easy way to control (dim) my lights software wise (android app or portal). Have I missed something ? I used the Parabola setting in the Wizard, offseted the times for Daylight and actin...

Avoiding overflow with float switch

Well... I've been out of the game for waaay too long and I'm getting lazy it seems :) I've generated my very simple code thanks to the wonderful Wizard for dummies (using the internal memory) and assume it will do exactly what it said it would. Now the only element for now that I'd like to add is us...

Re: Evergrow/Reefbreeders LED 0-10v expansion dimming

Got my SB ReefLights all modded up. I used a stereo headphone jack placed in one of the dimmer pot holes and made a wiring harness using a 4 pin circuit board connector so it's all just plug in with no cutting into the original wiring. Works great. My only gripe is that these drivers don't dim to o...

Re: Random Date time change ?!

Just tested, solid 30 second power out and the time seems to be ok. Even weirder, I guess you were thinking of a dead cmos battery ?

Seperate topic altogether but the salinity probe appears to be totally dead. reads 60, all plugged in properly (tried plugging in and out everything multiple time).

That's what I thought. Really really odd. I haven't changed my code since I got the RA Optiboot board, everything had been working flawlessly. Let's hope it really was a one off.

Random Date time change ?!

Well that's a weird and scary one, I was sitting in my living room right now and just saw the light turning back on on my tank! No odd behavior except for the fact that I was way past light off time and they actually turned off as usual before suddently coming back on. Had a look at my date and time...

No visible corosion on mine but it's been reading a flat 6 ppt non stop for the past few days. Will try and reboot. Could it be defective ? Pulling the cable around didn't change anything to the reading.

Re: Salinity Constantly dropping according to probe

I had a look at the probe and gave it a quick rinse in RO water and it still behaves erraticaly. My readings went as low as 32.1 and are now back at 34.1 while it should in theory read close to 35 - what it actually read initially. It might be related to my ATO interferring with the readings but the...

Interesting. I'll definitely check it out when I get home tonight. Could corrosion form as fast as 1 week of usage ? I just started using it a few days ago. Any specific ways to clean it? Edit: Still dropping, now reading 32 by the time I get home I'll have fresh water  Hopefully the probe is t...

Salinity Constantly dropping according to probe

Weird one here. According to the salinity probe I'm now at 32.5 ppt, extremely low for my reef (stable at 35ppt). I find this extremly odd as I've remotely turned off the ATO port and it still seems to be going down which makes no sense at all. Even with the ATO (which has been working flawlessly fo...

Wifi Can't connect anymore (after board swap)

That's an odd one. Replaced my RA mainboard, flashed the Init Memory file followed by my INO generated through the wizard (hardcoded values). Everything is working #1 except for the wifi module which always worked great before. It does connect to my network instantly, slow flashing green light, gets...

Very cool! I wonder if it could somehow make sense to developp a custom screen wizard, maybe an extra step to the existing wizard? Could start off with pre-made templates and eventually give some customization options? Then again, I wonder how many people actually use their RA screen for anything el...

So in other words to enable SIMPLE_MENU we can generate our PDE with Ragen and simply add the

#define SIMPLE_MENU

to the PDE ?

Any plans for a new release of RAgen updated with new features :) ?

Thanks!
