Re: Bus Lock Issues
Thanks for the explanation Roberto. Would this mean that it's a bad relay module? Any way to interrupt the module in code? I'm not sure how best to remedy the issue. Would this be caused by grounding issues or something else? I'm using the original relay box with a relay expansion module. The dimmin...

Bus Lock Issues
It seems I'm having an issue with bus locking. I had just added a relay expansion along with expansion hub and I get a bus lock every 30 minutes. I have isolated the issue to the relay expansion as removing it gets rid of the issue. I have tried different ports on the hub but have the same same issu...

Re: Reef Angel Star Controller
I used the settings in code so didn't think much about the internal memory. I looked over the internal memory and corrected some of the values on the webportal. Does the webportal upload the internal memory settings to the controller after saving it?
Thanks

Re: Reef Angel Star Controller
The connection problem has been fixed with the password update. However I am having some issues with the relay turning on when the RA* has been inactive. I had my lights to turn on at 10am, I checked the portal and everything looked fine. However when I got home the lights weren't on. I touched the ...

Re: Reef Angel Star Controller
I've noticed that the RA* relay box now defaults to Box1_Port(n) for the main relay. Previously the main relay didn't have a box# preceding it. Going to add another relay box so I may have to change the second relay box dip switches to box2? Is there any way to tell what the name of last firmware I ...

Re: Reef Angel Star Controller
Okay cool. I'll run all the lunar lights off of the dimming expansion, and have all the d120s connected to the head unit. Just starting to play with the unit. Looking good. Great work on the design!
Thanks again.

Re: Reef Angel Star Controller
Would it be possible to run 2 of the dimming channels from the d120 into one of the expansion ports or the RA*? I'm not sure how much current can the channels can safely handle. I understand it's that only one lunar light per channel.
Thanks for the support.

Re: Reef Angel Star Controller
Hi All. In regards to the 4 dimming channels on RA*, is it possible to connect 4xd120/evergrow led lights to it, which would need 8 dimming channels? Are the 4 dimming channels PWM only on the RA*? I also have a dimming expansion so I can connect it there also, but would like to mix in 4 lunar light...

How many lunar modules can the dimming module support
Hi
I was wonder how many lunar modules can the dimming module support per channel? I saw in the documents that the lunar dimming module can support about 5 lunar modules per channel but wasn't sure about the dimming module.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Mixing RA and RA+
Hi binder,
Yes please explain, if you don't mind writing it up. No hurries as I have to get the 2nd tank ready before moving the second unit over in a couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Tim

Mixing RA and RA+
I apologize if this topic has been posted before, searched but couldn't fine any definite answers. I have both the RA standard and RA+ and was wondering if I could use the same platform/laptop to upload code to. Do the libraries for the RA and RA+ differ due to differences in memory? Or is the limit...

Main unit crashes
Hi All, Currently I am using the new Reef Angel controller with the extra memory upgrade along with an relay expansion. Prior to installing the relay expansion, the WDT would any prevent crashes on the main unit. Now with the relay expansion installed the controller is crashing quite often. I am not...

Thanks for the example Curt, I will have to give it a spin later today. Will also try what Roberto suggested and see which works best.

how to add additional wavemakers
Hello All, Just got a RA and am tinkering with it a bit. So far it is a very neat device, and has done what I have needed it to. The RAgen and the tutorials are a very good starting point to get what you need from the controller. One question I have come across is how best to add additional wavemake...
