Re: WiFi adapter stopped working. I think???

I got the WiFi connected locally, but something is still not right. If I leave the unit unused for a while, like overnight or while at work, the connection drops and I have to power cycle the head unit to get it working again. The communications light ( the 1st light ) is always blinking. Isn't it s...

Re: WiFi adapter stopped working. I think???

The connection from the WiFi module to the WiFi Setup utility worked last night. I just decided to try it again and I can program the WiFi module through the utility, but when it tries to connect to my router that is where it gets stuck, so it seem to be something with my router configuration. I hav...

Re: RA water level sensor ATO for dummies...

The WLS come with a module that plugs into the USB port on the relay or into an expansion hub if you have one. If this is the only module you have then you don't need and an expansion hub. As Roberto said it's very easy to calibrate. With the Multi WLS you just have to make sure that you are on the ...

WiFi adapter stopped working. I think???

I think my WifI module stopped working. I changed from Bellsouth DSL to Comcast Xfinity about 2 weeks ago and lost connectivity to my WiFi. I changed the settings on the Comcast router to duplicate the old settings on my old netgear router identically so that I wouldn't have to go around to all my d...

Re: Water Level Sensor calibration.

Actually mounting out of the side there may be a problem when the water gets to the horizontal part of the WL pipe.

I'm not sure how it will react to that amount of air that is in the horizontal portion of the pipe.

Re: Water Level Sensor calibration.

No.
Either way you are going to have to empty the bucket below the WL line and there would be residual water in the bucket at the 0.
I just wanted my 0 to be lower than if it was coming out of the side.

Re: Water Level Sensor calibration.

Yeah. If you do that though you will need to have a piece of pipe that is the length of the shut off valve attached to another union bottom that you can attach to the WL pipe that will bring the total length of the WL pipe to the same as when it is attached to the trash can or your 0% level will be ...

Re: Water Level Sensor calibration.

I wound up going out of the bottom on the trash can and then running a pipe up. I used a Uniseal in the bottom of the can and it holds water fine. I have not calibrated it and used it yet, but I don't see an issue with it. On one of my 2 trash cans that I've set up this way I did not glue the bottom...

I just looked at that portion of the code again. Where do you set the level you want it to be at?

Is that the operating PWM in the define section?

I'm going to set this up when I get my 90 gallon going. Can someone explain what is going on with this code so I understand what things need to be changed? Re: Different Dimming Speeds

The Skimmer and return pump will be setup as Constant. The problem is going to be the different speeds The DCPump is setup for the same speed for each pump running. There maybe away to do it by using the offset the lnevo implemented. It's a little beyond my coding capabilities. Also I know that the ...

Re: jEBAO RW SERIES Wave Maker.

The are 0-10v and can use analog or PWM on the Reef Angel. I'm not real familiar with the DCT pumps but from what I can see online about them the only DCT pumps are made by Jebao and have the name Jecod on them. They have the same type of 3 prong water proof connection so they should be compatible w...

Re: jEBAO RW SERIES Wave Maker.

Yes 2 WP-40's will be enough for a 120.
Some people still like the RW series even though they loose the wireless communication between pumps because they say the flow is wider.

Re: Can someone tell my why my lights aren't working?

That doesn't seem correct. First of all are you sure you have the jumpers on the dimming module set to 0-5v becuase you shouldn't be getting 11v out of it if you do. Second of all 30% of 12v is 3.6v not 11.12v and 16% of 12v is 1.92v. 30% of 5v would be 1.5v and 16% of 5v would be 0.8v. I hope you d...

Re: jEBAO RW SERIES Wave Maker.

I have not personally done it, but the RW series can be controlled by the Reef Angel using the Jebao cable in the store. http://www.reefangel.com/QuickViewJebaoAttachment.html It will use either the analog or PWM just like the WP and DC series Jebao pumps do. They are controlled individually, so you...

Re: LED Lights off when not scheduled to be on.

I think I make have enough ports to do it when I move over to the 90 gallon.
I have the main relay and then the RANet wireless relay in the garage. So my ATO and Kalkwasser pumps will be moving to the garage and open up some spaces on the main relay.

Re: LED Lights off when not scheduled to be on.

Oh. I get it now.
Gotta think about what I want to do.

I don't really want to tie up 4 relay ports to just turn off the power to the lights or buy another relay and relay expansion.

The external timers is not the way I want to go.

Thanks for the suggestions and the code.

Yes. I've noticed that sometimes the USB cable may slip out of the expansion hub a bit.
It looks like it's in, but it's actually a bit loose, so double check the connections.

Re: LED Lights off when not scheduled to be on.

Thanks Lee. So with this I would still need to have the light plugged into one of the ports on the relay, correct? I was kind of hoping to free them up for some other uses. Like the moonlights are just plugged into a regular outlet that is not controlled and the code just keeps them off when not nee...

Is it dim at a constant level?
Like 50% and won't go higher or lower.
I'm guessing a reversed + -.
