ATO w/water level sensor
I used to use the following code for one of my water level sensors to control my ATO pump. if ( ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) <= 54 && ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) >= 9 ) ReefAngel.Relay.On( TopOff ); if ( ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) >= 81 || ReefAngel.WaterLevel.GetLevel(2) < 9 ...

Re: Cloud Wifi Hub compile error
I do have Arduino IDE installed. With the Cloud expansion connected, I am unable to select the serial port where it is attached. When I go to tools in Arduino IDE, "Serial Port" is a grayed out option. I have tried on the laptop that I use to upload code to the RA* and tried on another des...

Re: Jebao/Speedwave Cable Attachment
It depends on which version of the pump you are trying to use it with. I have a DCP-10000 and have to use the controller that came with the pump. I'm fairly certain the cable works with the DC-XXXX versions. I'm not sure about the DCT-XXXX versions but I don't think so. These are just the return pum...

Re: Cloud Wifi Hub compile error
To verify the cables and box worked, I connected Box 2 to the RA* (through an expansion hub) and the ports toggle off and on via the Uapp and Android App when connected that way.

Re: Cloud Wifi Hub compile error
Box 1 is connected directly to the RA* head unit and ports do toggle with both Uapp and the Android App. Box 2 is connected to the Cloud Wifi hub and show the change on the screens, but the outlets don't come on.

Re: Cloud Wifi Hub compile error
I used the cloud wifi attachment 2.0 manual and I can see it on my local network (flashing cyan light) but I haven't figured out how to access modules attached to it; currently having a Relay Expansion Box (configure #2) and a Dimming Expansion Module attached.

Re: Cloud Wifi Hub compile error
Hey Roberto, I'll open it up when I get home this evening (at work right now) but I want to make sure of the terminology. I don't think I have a cloud wifi 'attachment,' I believe I have a cloud wifi 'hub' to go with my RA*. Also, I didn't upload the code since the initial version above, that the Wi...

Re: Salinity not working
I did try using two other usb ports on the expansion hub but I think it's all OBE (overcome by events) now. I tried using the new power supply with the older module/probe and it began to work. I calibrated it as well and now showing 35.2 ppt. I then plugged the original power supply back in and it i...

Re: Salinity not working
Yep, odd. Green light on both modules; with two different usb cords. When calibrating, the calibration value is '0' with both modules whether in the calibration solution, in tank water, or not in liquid at all. After the calibration, 5.9 showing as salinity.

Salinity not working
I have an RA* and the salinity is stuck at 5.9. When first setup, calibrated to 35 ppt, and salt added to the setup, it would show much higher than my refractometer (45 ppt with the refractometer at 35 ppt). On further attempts to calibrate it, it got closer, but not quite there. During one attempt,...

Re: More temp probes code
I have a RA* controller I've also added an additional temp probe to my system and found two ways to add it in code. I found this first: ReefAngel.Params.Temp[T4_PROBE]; <--- didn't notice a change And then in this thread: ReefAngel.AddExtraTempProbes(); <--- displays temp 4, 5, & 6 to the LCD an...

Feeling kinda dumb here, but I'm not familiar with the input port connector(s) used for ATO and alarm [RA Star].

Re: 12V Water solenoid valve
Thanks Roberto. That'll work. To drain water, I'll be opening two of these valves simultaneously; both can be on the same power supply. Additionally, for the fill, it'll be a solenoid valve and a pump and I can use the same method. I'm thinking I'll need more than 8 outlets anyway so a Relay Expansi...

New to RA here and I'd like a little advice on how to operate a 12V 3/4" water solenoid valve. I have plumbed my tank to so that I have a (semi) permanent siphon in order to perform no bucket water changes into a deep sink in an adjacent room from my setup. I have purchased a Reef Angel Star co...
