If any one has issues with a slow Arduino IDE when clicking the tool menu, here is a fix. Prone to pc's with Win 7 64 bit

Just FYI, that dll is the exact OS specific Java library that needs to be used on Reef Angel Status.
There is one of those specific for MacOSX too.
Hence, the need of 2 different distribuition packages.

Hi Roberto, do you mean it would have been included with the installation package for RA. I installed RA and had the issue so replaced it with the one from the web site in the link above?

No, I mean that whoever (probably Curt ;) ) develops the module for serial communication on the RA Status app, needs to use RXTX library.
They are the only ones I know of that have serial implementation for both MacOSX and Windows, even though it is two totally different and OS specific libraries.
The one I distribute is the same of that comes with the Arduino IDE. It only causes that delay when you have bluetooth in your computer, I think.

That makes sense about the bluetooth, because it was hit and miss with the slow IDE. I do use the Bluetooth on and off so makes sense why I was having the issue..
