Hello, I have yet to purchase an RA setup, but have a question...
I have a complete fully loaded Digital Aquatics RKE setup which has been running everything for about 4 years.
I'm nervous about stepping into something totally new which appears to have every function imaginable, but requires Arduino coding knowledge of which I have very little (A 3d printer is my only experience).
1) Can I get the RA system and learn/program/test everything (at least most of it) with it off my tank before dismantling my RKE?
Does someone recommend something else?
Getting setup when already setup
Re: Getting setup when already setup
I would think so. Just set it up on your desk and go for it.
You should be able to get most stuff running with just the Wizard with little to no manual coding. If you do require something special, I bet someone already has code for it.

yes, you can set everything up and run it from your desk. that is how I test code and everything out. the only thing that is tricky is working with the float switches. otherwise you should be good.
just make sure you ask questions.
