New to forum and new to Reef Angel
Re: New to forum and new to Reef Angel
How big is the tank? The ReefAngel moonlights are cheap and easy and work phenomenally actually.
Re: New to forum and new to Reef Angel
I have a 55g until my wife allows me to get a bigger tank. I had thought about using the RA ones. Is that what you use?

I think with high power LEDs, you will not have the same kind of effect.
But this is all subjective too.
I personally don't like it to be too bright.
I use only 2 moonlight modules on a 60G and I divide the intensity by 5, cause I think 100% is way too bright for my taste.

I was thinking the same about it being too bright, but i still want to be able to simulate the lunar cycle which is what the lunar mod does, correct?rimai wrote:I think with high power LEDs, you will not have the same kind of effect.

Re: New to forum and new to Reef Angel
The lunar module just lets you connect a lot more moonlights to one dimming channel. Let's say for your 55 you want two moonlights but only have one dimming port free. Anyway 2 RA moonlights should cover you fine and 100% is not too bright for me plus its only that bright a few nights a month
