dimming output questions

I have a first gen reef angel. I don't think it is analog as it doesn't have a sticker or sticker residue on the ac outlets. I ordered a new set of DIY LEDs with pwm ballast and planed to connect them to the dimming ports on my angel. I ordered the connectors and wired everything. Lights work great but do not dim at all. I tested my LEDs with a AA battery and they dim perfectly. I tried to test my angel with a volt meter and I don't get anything on the DC side. I get a reading on the AC side of around 10 volts when the lights are off and 2 volts when the lights are on. As my program runs I see my pwm % changing on my phone and on the portal. My LEDs don't change. As the % goes up the AC voltage goes down. Doesn't make any sense to me at all. Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Is first gen capability of dimming with out the expansion? I will upload code when I get home from work. Is there a better way of testing the outputs of my angel? Thanks

The first gen RAs had optional dimming signal that needed to be added at the time of purchase.
Depending on the revision of your relay box, we may be able to mod it.
Can you PM me or post a photo of your relay box??

Ok, so you see where the dimming ports are?
There is a 6pin header close to it.
That's where the PWM booster would be and I can see there is none.
So, luckily for your case it is very simple to do.
I can send you a PWM booster board that would be plugged in that header pin.
