Waterlevel expansion pvc adaptor

Post by lmolenmaker »

Hi Roberto,

I was wondering if I could buy just the adaptor (the part with the orange bit) as i think there is a leak where the tube enters the adaptor?

Overtime ( a week or so) the percentage drops and my top off system thinks it need to be activated, which is actually not the case. I have to recalibrate it each time this happens.

If you guys have any other solutions to this problem, I would love to hear it.

Everything has been glued with pvc cement, so the leaks are not there. I think it is either where the tube connects to the module or where the tube enters the adaptor.

Ah, that's a shame. They don't ship to Australia.

Should I maybe glue around the tubing, to stop the leaks?

Yes, I can send to AUS. PM if you can't get it to work.
Make sure that you use pvc cement. I don't think glue works.

Yes, try gluing with silicone.
Also if you get a 1/2" plug and drill a hole in it for the tubing

Silicone is not really a good air tight solution unless it is solid and pressed on.
