reef angel for reptile cage

Post by theking2a »

Hi
would like to use a reef angel in my reptile cages
could the reef angel do the following thing or do I need a plus

3 temp probes
control 3 misters
control actuator
I know I will need a Reef Angel I/o Expansion

my plans when its warm actuator will lift the roof off
and when it get very hot the misters will go on
I have 3 cage in 1 so I need 3 temp probes and 3 misters
would think is will :? work
thanks

RA+. You probably could use a standard RA, but the memory is limited and you'd be limited to old libraries. It would be fairly frustrating in the long run.

Why are you thinking you'd need the I/O expansion?

I thought I need a I/O box to connect the switch to turn on the mister and actuator

Do you think there is a better solution

thanks

You could just plug their power supplies into the relay box and turn on the appropriate relays when temps are reached.

Hi
I have been researching actuator

That's they I thought I need a I/O to do the switching can the reef angel to this
