Adjustments using Controller

Post by randynixon74 »

I'm having some trouble making adjustments using the controller menus and joystick. As I understand it, left and right change screens and up/down + joystick press makes changes. I'm not able to change anything. When I press the joystick in, I get the same menu list. Am I doing something wrong?

Really anything. It's like the menus are read-only. I was trying to change (override) the dimming settings initially, but then expanded to trying to change anything when that didn't work.

When you push the joystick in you will get the menu of things you can change. You cannot change things on the status pages. They are informational only.

the values are really not changeable via the joystick. that functionality requires a lot of extra code on the controller and was just not feasible. it was much easier to handle value changing from the different apps instead.
