Can't upload any code :(
I get the same error message every time I try to upload code. This is the error I get with trying to upload the initial internal memory:

Re: Can't upload any code :(
do you have a standard ra or ra plus?
if you don't know, then you can try the opposite one you selected in the wizard.
also, make sure the cable is connected to your controller before you try to upload. i know these are basic suggestions but can be overlooked.

Re: Can't upload any code :(
Binder, thank you for your reply and suggestions. I have already tried both troubleshooting steps but it still will not upload. Please share any other suggestions and thanks again.

When I try to restore preloaded code I get the following error message:

Re: Can't upload any code :(
Yes, but you still need to find out if it is a standard RA or a RA+.
This is the first step.
Ask the person you bought it from or open the head unit to check the board revision.

Re: Can't upload any code :(
I bought it from a LFS and I have no idea who he ordered it from. I am going to open it it right now. What should I look for? By the way, thanks for helping me.
Re: Can't upload any code :(
It says Reef Angel Main Unit 6.1 and there are three jumpers on the board to the right of the knob. A black jumper to the far left and the other two are white jumpers.
Re: Can't upload any code :(
That's a standard RA and you will have a bit of a trouble fitting most codes without stripping it down to the bare minimum.
Make sure the serial port is correct and choose "Reef Angel w/ optiboot" as the option on Boards menu.

Re: Can't upload any code :(
I tried a usb port that I didn't think of using before and I was able to upload the code that I made from the wizard. I got error messages, probably due to the fact that it had to strip down the code to get it to fit, but everything is working perfectly now. How much would it cost to upgrade to a RA+ board? Thanks again for your help.
Re: Can't upload any code :(
All you need is the RA+ board upgrade in the webstore
It's pretty simple to swap.
