can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
Hey guys i got a RA+ a cpl years ago then had to take the tank down. finely setting up another build and wondering if my RA can control the build my led MC 20K?
it has the 0-10V dimming but they only offer apex and reef keeper cables.
wondering the same with all lighting really. how about the aquaiclife Halos sorry been out of the loop for a while now...
RA makes a cable if i remember...hell prob. have it.

I know you can control buildmyled, but not so sure about the other one.

You can get the dimming port lead wire to connect your fixture to RA. They are available in the webstore.

Re: can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
Just make sure you switch the dimming module to PWM or Analog based on the controllers you buy from buildmyled
Re: can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
^ well I was not planing on buying any controllers form BML thanks whats I have the RA for.
so Rami the MC series has 3 controllable channels. can the RA+ do that with 3 ted wires?
sorry for the noob like questions, but I have been out of the game for a while.
I make sure I totally understand it before I spend the money.

I also dont see the lead wire in the RA store.
Re: can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
RA only has 2 channels on the standard system.
For a 3rd channel, you would need the dimming expansion module.
Dimming port lead wire is under accessories section:

Re: can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
oh only 2 dimming ports on RA + glad I found out before ordering the light. that ads an extra $100 just to control each channel would be nice but totally not needed. hummmm
but the RA lead wire will still work with the one channel dimming XB series tho correct?
just wanna make sure i fully understand before choosing a light.
and if I go with the Kessils I will still need one kessil wire from the store per light yes?

Re: can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
If the fixture only has one channel, then you only need to use one dimming port.
Kessil cable controls the first fixture. All others are daisy chained to each other.
So, you only need to control the first fixture and the others will just follow it.

Re: can my RA work with buildmyled or haloes
You can double up your channels. So you could put two channels on one port and the third on the second port. If that helps.
