WIFI Unit

Hi all

I need some help please.

My wifi is setup and working 100% on the portal and app internal and external.

Fixed ip on Reef Angel WIFI on my ADSL router and port 2000 forwarded.

I use the (. myreefangel . com) dns.

The next day it wont connect on my app when I am at work. I log onto the portal and it's running no problems.

When I get home the green light is flashing slowly as it's suppose to do,still not connecting with my app.

I then restart the Reef Angel and everything is working 100% again from internal over wifi and external over 3G.

The following day I am unable to connect again using the app?

Does anyone have some info or help?

Need some more diagnostic when its in that state. Is it pinging? Can you connect to it from a browser (on port 2000).

No you cant.

The only thing you can do is when your phone is connected to the wifi you are able to use the app.

You are unable to use the app over 3G.

If I restart the Reef Angel all is working again?

Do you also have this problem if you try to connect directly to the ip address?
I'm thinking it could be something related to the ddns resolution.

Hi

Yes if I try connecting directly to the ip or ddns it times out on the app and unable to connect.

Once I restart my Reef Angel everything works again.
