so i have had my reef angel for a while but the task to get it setup has seemed quite daunting
i finally am getting around to it and have begun but if i may ask some simple questions

can i upload or edit code over wifi? or will i need to get it back to TLL cable for that?
if can not setup port forwarding will i not be able to use it over wifi at all? at the moment im struggling with my port forwarding, just cant get it setup

why is there a pH expansion module as well as a pH probe?

Ph expansion is if you want to monitor a second tank or calcium reactor.

You can't upload over wifi but you can over bluetooth.

Port forwarding issues will let you get a read only access from the portal but no ability to control externally. You will be able to do whatever in the house.

Do you gave the Bluetooth attachment?
It is a separate device from the WiFi attachment.

yes i do, and have managed to set it up. re read the bluetooth thread and saw that i mixed a cable up.

my setup is working, can uplode code over blue tooth connects to wifi. all that is left is to take the systme over to tank engine room, calibrate the probes and set them up. have to see what hitches that may have
o and find out how to port forward my router correctly, so far no luck despite online tutorials and port forwarding apps

thanks for the help so far

I'm planning on attaching the system to a board and then fixing the board to a wall. Attached a pic.
Do you guys think there will be any problems with it setup in this way anything I can not forsee?

Alternative would be to build a shelf. But that would make access harder

I did something similar. Just make sure you leave enough room to access the connectors. Some of mine ended up a little tight.
