tunze controllable pumps
Re: tunze controllable pumps
The box with the DIN5 connector is the driver.

RA can connect to that DIN5 connector just like their controller would.

Re: tunze controllable pumps
they dont sell them now. may be comes with a package.
Re: tunze controllable pumps
I'm looking at the manual and they seem to have moved the driver to inside the pump itself

Page 20 part #3 should be the DIN5 connector.
Do you have one of the controllable Tunze pumps to confirm?

Re: tunze controllable pumps
Nopes. Right now i dont have ones. From the manual page no. 29 it looks like model number 6025, 6055,6095 only comes with drive unit.
Re: tunze controllable pumps
I do have a 6055, it does come with a box (I assume its the driver). Sadly, the cable didn't come with the used pump. Don't think I have the analog RA thoughrimai wrote:I'm looking at the manual and they seem to have moved the driver to inside the pump itself

Re: tunze controllable pumps
Seems like only expensive models are controllable btw anyone has tried sicce voyager 4 with reef angel?
Re: tunze controllable pumps
Does anyone have the pinout for the newer version of Tunzes? I have 6055 that I would like to hook up to my RA+. The picture posted here previously (on page 4) seem to be for the old version so I'm curious if the pinout has changed?
Also what is the name of the analog connection on the relay box? On the Tunze it's a DIN 5 but on the RA relay? If I have to make my own cable I need to know what plug to look for

Re: tunze controllable pumps
You can purchase them at the webstore. It's called dimming port lead wire, but if you are trying to find them locally to DIY your cable, they are called polarized 2 pin 2510 connectors.
I don't think nothing changed. The manufacturer in Germany doesn't provide that information or any information for that matter. All you get is a link to user-manuals.

Just make sure you have the Analog dimming signal or it won't work.

Re: tunze controllable pumps
I chose the analog dimming port just because of the possibility to do this
I forgot that you have them in the store and I was going to find them here somewhere. Sometimes I wish for a personal memory/brain upgrade ^^
Thanks for the info!

Re: tunze controllable pumps
I feel a bit more like an electrician every day now I soldered the cable according to the photos you provided (they were a big help so thanks again!) and started to play around a little. The pump start at 25% but I haven't figured out if it increases all the way up to 100% or if it cuts of prior to that. Also anyone knows if the are linear for each percent or does it use bigger steps? It's a bit hard to measure exactly just by holding the hand in front of it
At least I got it running and it looks good so far anyway!
