jebao cables

Post by riggeek »

working on getting the 2 x wp-40 pumps working.

I am using a dimming expansion with the following channels.
0. Kessil intensety
1. kessil Atinic
2. Not used
3. Not used
4. Jebao left WP-40
5. Jebao right WP-40

I have the Jabeo cables from Robert, but i had to cut the plugs off to wire them to the dimming expansion. Which color wire should go to the common? The red or black?

The dimming expansion is set up for 0 to 10 volt, and i can change the value by adjusting the portal.

I bought this Jebao model
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KHE ... UTF8&psc=1.

I how ever can not get the pumps to do any thing.

Any ideas

Got the black wired up to the common.

Pumps still are not working.

I have the output 4, an 5 of the dimming module showing 4VDC out. I have verified this measurement with my multimeter.

That brings up the next question. What setting should I have the output of the dimming module set to to control the Jebao WP-40 pumps?

Right now they are set for 0 to 10 VDC analog.

Yeap. 0-10V Analog works.
In fact, 0-10V PWM also works. The cable accepts either dimming signal as long as it is 0-10V.

What is your code like?
It seems like your are wired correctly.
4 and 5 should be Red and the Blacks from each pump go to any of the 3 grounds or can share 1 ground.

Now they are working.
only bad thing is not sure what i changed.

When can I read up on the different pump modes? What is the best night mode, I like the how the jebao control slowed down the pumps at night.

I have 2 pumps on opposite sides of the tank.

I use a slow gyre mode at night. You could also use a slow constant if you like the original Jebao night mode.

I have my pumps like yours, on opposite sides of the tank.
I run mine on 30% constant at night, but the Lagoon is also a nice calm mode.
