Bus Lock

What would cause a Bus Lock?

It's happened twice now, I open up the app on my phone and the PH and Salinity are both at minimum readings. I scroll over and the Bus Lock says ON. I do a reboot and things go back to normal again.

Any ideas?

Something in your expansion bus has a problem.
The first thing I would check is the connection. Make sure they are tight and secure.
Also, check for water damage and then try moving to a different port in the hub.

I had a bus lock error a couple of months ago and it turned out the my expansion bus had a problem.
I replaced it and everything was fine after that.

Do you have the RF module? There's some updates that were made to the firmware on it that can help if that is causing issues.

I have the following -

Reef Angel Plus
3 - temp probes
PH probe
Wi-Fi
Expansion Hub
Salinity module
Water level module

So from what you guys are saying, it's something in the expansion hub?

No, it is anything connected to the bus, but especially the expansion hub, salinity module, wl module and any cables used to connect them together.
I recommend you connect one at a time until you find out the culprit.

I checked all the connections and everything is the same as it's been since I set it up.

I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can find out what's causing it.
