RA+ under tank

Post by Rodasphoto »

I am setting up a new 65g and was thinking of keeping the RA and its accessories/modules under the tank in the stand near the sump. Should I abandon this plan and house it separately or will it be OK? Where do you keep yours.

Since I lack space under my tank, I bought a couple of foremost modular cubes with doors on amazon. One is for the RA and other electrical components and the other is for fish food and other accessories. I like not having the electric by the water.

Make sure it's away from any spray. Keep it away from the skimmer and overflow lines (lots of tiny bubbles popping and throwing salt mist everywhere).

If you have the ability to move it out from under the tank do so.

No matter how hard you try and how careful you are things under the tank get wet.

I don't it have installed yet on that tank. I think I am going to put it on top of the canopy I need to build for the tank. I will need to put some trim on top to hide it.
