Temp probe 3pin Connector

Post by ganjero »

Is the an easy way to fix/replace the Temp probe 3pin Connector? I just had a second one failed, the cable just came out of the connector after installing the RA in my new house. I am a very careful person, and after having one failed before I handle these connector very carefully.

If the wire came out, you can re-patch it or you can solder it to the connector.

You can buy those on your local electronics store or you can try pulling them out with a tweezers.

You can also use 3 pin computer fan connectors to replace them. Just make sure you go by pin position and not wire color when you do.
