Jebao Battery Backup PWM
I just received my battery backup controller last night which I couldn't get to work, and I now realized when I ordered my RA back in aug 2013 I asked for my relay box with outputs to be 0-5v pwm. I also ordered a dimming expansion at the same time.
So my question is, Im not sure if that dimming expansion can do 0-10v like the newer ones, or is there some way to make the relay box or dimming expansion put out 0-10v?

Re: Jebao Battery Backup PWM
Open the dimming expansion and see if there are jumpers to change the signal.

That module was custom ordered as 0-5PWM.
It won't do 0-10V.
The new modules have the option to do 0-10V or 0-5V though jumpers.

Re: Jebao Battery Backup PWM
So if that one is out is there a way to do it through the relay box?
Re: Jebao Battery Backup PWM
You mentioned that the relay box was also modified
But, if you are good with a soldering iron use, we can mod the battery backup module to accept 0-5 instead of 0-10.
You need to remove R4 and R2.
Or you can send it back and I can do it for you.

Re: Jebao Battery Backup PWM
Ok one more thing I dont know much about circuits so forgive me if this sounds dumb.
I tried to plug in my 12v power supplys into the unit to cut the power of the pumps some (no battery or charger attached yet), and the pumps didnt run. Since the 24v works and the 12v doesn't, am I correct in assuming that the way it works is whenever the voltage on the pump power supply side is below 12v or so, it switches to to battery side? So if I ran say a 14v power supply to my pumps would it work again?
