WiFi Woes

Post by Smotz »

Odd problem here.

I recently changed firewalls.

I added the rules to do my port forwarding to my RA - which I know are working 'cause the android app works from both internally and externally.

However, my Portal is not working. When I look at the RA Portal, the wifi IP address is wrong.
I use No-IP and I can confirm that it is updated in "internet land".

Any thoughts?

I am also able to get to my water lever chart @

But still the portal doesn't work.
Does it work for anyone or is it just me?

I'm here :D
Though I don't have a unit yet, you're referring to the main login to view the RA from the internet? (portal)
Apologies, still learning..

Portal has been working fine for me.

There's a link around here somewhere that can tell you if the appropriate port is open. Lemme see if I can dig it up.

Use port 2000.

Can you post a screenshot of your portal screen?

My bad. All fixed. Looks like I had an IP in my user config instead of my DNS hostname. Not sure why I would do that but all fixed.
