I got a used RA+ and set it up with the wizard. Everything seems to be working except the temp probe is not reading. Is there an order it has to be set up? Or a trick to getting it to register?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Try plugging the temp probe in then cycling the power.

Re: new (used) setup, temp probe issues
yep. the controller checks at startup for the probes and if it fails to read it, it displays error. if you plug it in later and it starts reading the value, it sees that the value went from 0 to the correct temp in less than a second and it ignores the value because a normal change is typically not more than 10 degrees per second. so any spike or drop greater than 10 degrees is ignored to prevent undesired effects. so this catches us when you plug in a new probe.cosmith71 wrote:Try plugging the temp probe in then cycling the power.
