what should i do when i get it is there a way to reset the unit to make it like a new one ? it has the wifi unit with it do i need to do anything special with it thanks in advance

Not sure on the wifi module. For the RA itself, you'll just use the Wizard to start a new code and when you upload it, it will be reset to your specifications Pretty simple, you can start early and download the app now.

Go under the tools menu and use the Wizard to generate code.

Is it a Plus or a Standard? The latest software doesn't work with a standard.

how do i know if its a plus ?

ask the seller. You'll need the plus to really get good use out of it. It's easy enough to upgrade if you need to.

If you don't see the "Plus" designation, we'd need a picture of the circuit board in the head unit.
