Home Assistant integration

So I have recently started using home assistant for a lot of home automation things. I like that it is open sourced and you can have it do just about anything you want (kind of like reef angel). This got me thinking though. What if there was a way for me to see the status of all my reef angel parameters on the home assistant interface, possibly even control them? I love the android app but to be able to see everything in one place would be great.

Now I'm fairly new to all this so I don't know the best way to possibly do this. MQTT seems to be what a lot of home assistant devices use and I'm pretty sure the RA uses some kind of MQTT to control it remotely. I just don't know where I would start to figure out how to potentially integrate them.

Would love to hear some ideas on how this could be done.

Thanks

Yes, our cloud server uses MQTT messages.
So, if you have the cloud wifi attachment or the RA Star, you are all set.
Simply subscribe to username/out channel on cloud.reefangel.com and you will get all the messages from your controller.

Well there is motivation to upgrade. Im currently using an RA+ And the basic wifi attachment. The RA* looks very nice.

Anyone want to buy an RA+ with wifi? Lol
