Loaded test code but when i tried to access the unit via the browser got nothing. Do I need to activate the head unit to see the wifi attachment? i would use the RA Gen tool to activate but this is a Mac

Mac works too.
The WifiTestCode has everything to make it work.
Is it the file you uploaded?
Which wifi security are you using?
I've seen some issues with WPA1. Can you try changing it to WPA2-PSK with AES encryption?
Can you ping that ip address?

i pinged the IP address given on the wifi unit and got this. it looks like it connected to something. i used the wifi test sketch.

ok, so my RA Status Android APP seems to be able to connect as it is showing the correct PH however other computers trying to access via the browser cannot see it. Is this because of port forwarding?

Not if you are trying to connect internally with the address I posted above.
Do you have any type of firewall or antivirus in those computers that could be blocking your connection?

I do not think i have any firewall or anti virus software.

to be clear, the Mac can ping the wifi attachment.
My android APP can see the attachment only when on the network i.e. cannot see when using 3G connection.
when using the IP address in the browser ex: http://192.168.0.111:2000 none of my computer can see the device weather on the network or accessing via 3G.

its strange how the APP can see the device but nothing else.

3G does require port forwarding, but your computer should be able to access it within your wifi network, unless they are in a different network.
What is the ip address of your computer?
