portal/android issue

Post by maleci »

My RA was offline for a while and last night I went to connect it online again. I went through the GUI tool to set it up and it's blinking green like it should when it's connected with a valid IP address. I updated the port forwarding on my router to the new IP address generated when I redid the setup but still can't get the portal or android to connect. I tried both the address of the actual wifi device as well as the RA address created by the tool in the portal and neither connect. When I tried the android app I tried every combination I could with the home and away ports which seem to be fairly new since I didn't have it on a phone for a few months. What addresses do I need to feed to the portal and phone app for home and away host? Right now the portals setup to 198.171.134.6:80 but is unable to connect.

Did your WAN IP change? Also 2000 is the recommended port
Out for now...but not over.

Yeah the wan IP changed which led me to redoing the config tool to generate a new ip for the wifi card. Setup the port forwarding on the router again. It is blinking green but doesn't seem to connect to the portal or the android app. I've tried using both 192.168.0.195:2000 and 198.171.134.6:80 and both are coming back with unreachable address. Below is the output of view wifi settings. Any ideas why neither seem to connect?

CMD
get ip

DHCP=ON
