Setting cvar values from portal?

The portal shows the cvar values, but doesnt let them be set. Can something be added to send the new cvar value?
http://home.myreefangel.com:2000/cvar2,120 which would set cvar2 to 120.
Maybe it would be simple to add since it is similar to setting any other location in internal memory?
