Hi All,

Just got a RA Plus and super stoked with it so far.
i have managed to configure the WIFI module and so far have that working.
(only if connected to my local network)


i also seem to have got the portal up and running (dumb luck) - but only in one direction. ie info is showing but i cannot control the RA.

I have a TP-Link Router with DDNS and Port Forwarding ( i am a noob here so please be patient!)
when i look at the DDNS i only get 2 options: No-IP and dyndns

can someone help walk me through this?
i'd like to be able to control the tank remotely and obviously view detail in it remotely

OK, not my area of expertise, but I believe you should leave that blank. Make sure you have the DDNS line in your code. See here: http://forum.reefangel.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4754

HOWEVER, I don't think this affects portal operation. This still sounds like a forwarding problem. You will need to assign a static IP to the RA Wifi, then make sure port 2000 is forwarded to that address. I'm not familiar with TP-Link so I won't be much help there.
