Hi Roberto.
I've been getting random restarts on the RA*. I unplugged the ethernet cable and the restarts stopped occuring. Could you check on my account? Maybe I tried to upload firmware too quickly in succession?
Thanks,
Tim
Random restarts
Re: Random restarts
Hi Tim,
I was able to replicate this issue over here.
I'm working on trying to isolate and find the cause.

Re: Random restarts
I think we had a break down again.
I know now what causes the bad firmware download.
Your controller is probably down isn't it?
I know mine is due to a bad firmware download.
For now, I'm probably going to disable the remote firmware download until we have a more stable solution.

Re: Random restarts
Please load the same code again on your controller to get the latest libraries.
It has the remote firmware automatic download disabled so the controller doesn't get bricked.
It also has some extra lines to prevent the watchdog from kicking in when the connection takes to long to be established.
This should make things better as far as reboots and will prevent the bricked controller if a bad firmware is downloaded.

Re: Random restarts
I have to load the code through remote or usb way?

Re: Random restarts
Thanks Roberto for looking into it. I'll have to reload the firmware via USB when I get home.
