Question regarding the dosers.

Is there a way to set up the dosers so they will dose by ML, as opposed to time? for instance calibrate the pumps. I/e pump runs for 1min and it doses. 1 ML, then it is stored in memory so that i can use my android to set dosage, to 20ML a day. and later when i have more sps, just use my phone to increase it to 25ml..

Sorry i dont have pumps yet. Actually im still waiting on my reef angel to get here. I am just making some plans. There was an arduino doser that was on RC a while ago. i built it and programmed it. but did not buy pumps. Due to time constraints i bought a marine magic unit, but as other people have mention on here its a pain in the arse to program. When i want to add a second to one pumps interval. i have to input it like 35 times. i would like the ability to reprogram as easily as possible. But i was thinking i could Sell my marine magic, and Diy some pumps in some acrylic box's, and set up the RA to run them.

PS. i bought a used RA. it is analog, can it be changed to PWM?

Yes, it can be changed to PWM, but if it is not the latest revision, you will need to send it back or DIY with a soldering iron.

Cool, thanks. I bought a marine magic 3-part doser and having finally penetrated the almost incomprehensible directions, I find that I would have to make some 26 program changes just to increase or decrease the amount of calc, alk or vinegar I want to dose. I figure if I do it with the Reef Angel dosers, I may find time to finally finish reading War & Peace.
