port fwd help

Post by riggeek »

We just moved and have a new combo modem/wireless router (actiontec C1000A). I notice that my portal will not allow me to control my tank settings. My reef angel wifi has a ip of 192.168.0.8 and is set up for a static ip, and port fwd of port 2000. I am able to control the reef angel from 192.168.0.8:2000/wifi.
when i use http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ it shows the port as closed
I am not sure what the problem is from here. Any ideas?

When you check port 2000, does it say open?

It says remote ip 0.0.0.0
Maybe you should choose the specific option?
