Multi Channel Water Level Expansion Module

Post by rimai »

Hey All,

This is the first photo of the Multi Channel Water Level Expansion Module.
It has 4 channels and it will work along with the existing single channel, so you will be able to monitor up to 5 different points.

I made one minor revision to the board to make it easier for assembly.
When the next prototype boards arrive, I'll let you know.

Any news on on the multi channel water level expansion?
Is it possible to set up one as a barometer (open to air or tube in a known level of water) to 'fix' the reading of the others?

I still have one of prototype boards left at reduced price. PM if you are interested.
The official release will be in a few weeks.
I don't know about barometer. You would need to try it.

I have my water level disconnected from the hose and it has not changed with the barometric pressure so far. the value has stayed at 200. it might be different for you but I would venture to say that it probably won't work for that.

I got it! :) Thanks for the fast shipping. was going to try to hook it up this weekend but we're up on lake texoma all holiday weekend. My wife made it a technology free zone. I'm only able to get on my laptop now because everyone is asleep and I hacked the neighbor's wep key. I got away with bringing the laptop only "in case one of my servers goes down at work and I need to fix it", otherwise would have been SOL.

sorry for the dumb question but, if it has 4 ports, how do you monitor 5 channels?

Because a lot of people bought the single, before the 4 port was available, so you would need away to monitor all 5 channels.
