PWM dimming questions

Post by goisles1 »

Hi,

In the process of building a DIY LED experimental Light for my office tank. I'll be ordering the Dimming Module soon.

I know how to use the regular RA code to set my lighting schedule once I have the light ready to roll as I'm already running RA Lunar Moonlights.

My question is, Will there be any way to change the intensity of the leds without having to upload new code?

In other words.. I'd like to be able to increase/decrease the PWM channel intensity using my Android app. Even to just dial the light in initially..

I believe it's done using the internal memory?? How difficult is this?

You can either use the internal memory to change the settings for your wave form or you can also use the webserver app that gives you the override capability, so you can override each channel.
Simply go to http://ipaddress:2000/wifi

I noticed the timeouts when using Chrome... Still cool though!!

I just ordered the Module... Can't wait to start playing with it!

Anologue/PWM and voltage is all controlled by jumpers on the dimmer now, right?

I believe if you have a dimmer less than 6 months old it's jumpers for voltage Anol/PWM adjustment

That's pretty awesome! Keep getting lots of timeout errors though, no matter what browser I use.
