Wi-Fi Not Working
Wi-Fi Not Working
I recently moved and received a new router from verizon. My RA Wi-Fi was working with the old router, but I understand that I would need to reconfigure the RA Wifi with a new SSID, Password and IP address. I have connected the RA Wifi to my pc. I can connect to it using comm port 3. I entered the pass-phrase and SSID. The WiFi utility shows:
Associated: true
Authenticated: true
DHCP: true
Mode: WPA2
IP Address and Port: 192.168.1.18:2000
The issue is that the Blue light on the WiFi module blinks in a 14 beat continuous pattern and I can't ping the 192.168.1.18 address or view the 192.168.1.18:2000 web page.
I checked my router and I can see that the device is connected but the router can't ping it. I have verified that the router is using WPA2 with AES. I also tried resetting the RA WiFi to factory settings but that did not work.
Can you please assist me, I am out of ideas. Thanks.

Re: Wi-Fi Not Working
Humm..
The only other thing I can think of is to ensure that B/G network is enabled. The module is not N compatible, so if you set the router to N network only, it will fail.
It's weird that the router lists the module but can't ping it.

Re: Wi-Fi Not Working
The Wireless Mode is set to: Compatibility Mode(802.11b/g/n)
It appears that the Wi-Fi module connects initially but then quits. If I delete the IP/Mac address entry from the router and then set the WiFi settings on the RA module again, the RA module appears in the DHCP table of the router, but goes inactive after that.
What should I do?

Re: Wi-Fi Not Working
After you update, you will probably have problems with a corrupt config file.

Re: Wi-Fi Not Working
I have tried to update the firmware several times with the WiFi-Utility but it always fails and tells me to re-connect the module and try again.
Re: Wi-Fi Not Working
