Jebao WP25 controller or no controller?

Post by paperdesk »

I'm ordering a set of Jebao WP25's, and will be hooking them up to my "soon to arrive" RA. I can save a few dollars by buying just he pumps without a controller, or pay a little more and get the standard controllers, or again pay a few more dollars and get the twin controller. With the RA would I have a need for any of those controllers?

It's always good for resale or for testing if you have an issue. If you don't get something you won't be able to do anything with your soon to arrive RA.. if that's ok with you then just wait and save a few $$.

Good point about the testing, probably worth a few dollars for that!

Get at least 1 controller.
My 40 stopped working a couple of weeks ago and after my normal trouble shooting o got no where

I plugged the pump into my controller.l and it worked fine.

Turns out something in the RA cable burned out.

Got a new cable and everything is fine now.

Definitely pick up the stock controllers. You'll eventually need to clean the pumps. I like to put them in a small 2 gallon paint pot and run them with bleach and water to clean them. You'll need the controller to do that.
