Malfunctioning Tem Probe.

Post by Sacohen »

I have a 3' temp probe with the Temp extension.
I started having problems with the readings off of this probe and after looking at everything I noticed that the middle pin on the plug that goes into the RA was pushed up and not making contact.

How can I push this back down and have it stay in place?

Push it back in. If it won't stay, there's a little tab (the silver part visible in the holes in your picture) that you may need to bend up a little before you slide it back in.

The problem is that it's not all the way out or in. It's kind of stuck where it's at.

I don't want to pull to hard and pull the wire off

Push it in with something pointy, like a paperclip.
