What would you like to see in your dry food fish feeder?

if you're designing one to work with the Reef Angel I don't think you need to get to fancy with it, since it will be programmed and controlled by the unit.

I love the Eheim Feed Air Automatic Feeder 3581 "Feed-Air"http://www.marinedepot.com/Eheim_Feed_A ... AF-vi.html that I've been using even though I still haven't modded it to be triggered by the RA.

A powered unit so you don't have to worry about the batteries.
I like the small fan that the Eheim has to keep the food from clumping together.

A counter to see how many times it triggered...think like the little thumb clicker ones they use to count people...

As few wires as possible..

Adjustability...the eheim doesnt really give a lot of adjustment its either a tiny bit and gets clogged or a LOT

I'd like to have a button that I can put in the tank so that the fish can feed themselves when they're hungry :)

HA.

Fish are pigs and will overfeed themselves.
Your tank will go south in a rush.

I think consistency is the key. My problem with the Eheims is that they dispense a lot when they're full and not so much when they're less full.

I haven't noticed that, but I only have 5 fish so I don't feed them a lot (daily, but small quantities) so it takes an awful long time to empty the hopper on the Eheim Auto Feeder.

something comparable to the Eheim Auto Feeder in capability and cost. Cost being important.

Something reliable, consistent, and can feed a variety of foods. No batteries. I am personally going to go with this one http://www.superfeederstore.com/asf-1-a ... der-basic/

I would love to see an option for individualized compartments for daily feeding kind of like the FishMate F14 that Amazon sells. If you could come up with one that has a small fan like the popular Eheim with the control that the FishMate F14 has that would work with our Reef Angel controller it would be great. Also have as an option a "feeding station" type device like the Ocean Nutrition Feeding Frenzy Feeding Station which seems to work great but has very weak suction cups.

Eheim-like device would be just fine for me. Controlling with the RA, would be great! I agree a counter would be really nice. I like things simple I guess, but less to go wrong too.
