Salinity module

Post by skehole »

Do those that use this module find it helpful? I've heard mixed reviews on salinity probes in general being unreliable, is this the case?

Thanks!

They can be effected by stray voltage, but in general it's reliable.
Mine is having some issues right, now, but I think it's to close to the pump (voltage) and the ATO water inlet so the fresh water coming into the system is throwing off the reading.

I plane to move it in my new set up when I get around to it.

I like mine, it has been pretty reliable so far. I'm often away from home for a few days a week, it helps to look at the tank via the app and see Ph and salinity (for me anyway). next on my list multi-level water expansion to monitor sump and ATO container.

im thinking about picking this up to do it do atc? im tired of using my refractometer and not being able to see the lines good(bad eyes suck) and i was going to get a Milwaukee or a pinpoint but if this works as good i can ues it to read my tank and if my awc gets messed up to alert me.

so is this thing worth the 150?
