How much range does the RF module have? I need to run one from a basement.

A few feet.
I've seen reports that ecotech products can't be more than 6 to 8 feet away from each other. The RF module uses the ecotech radio.

Is there a powered hub that can extend the signal? For this setup I will need about 15 feet.
I service about 6 different aquariums that have sumps in the basement. This sometimes presents different challenges.

You are going to have to test to check whether the signal will go through the floors or not.
I think it would.

I can run a cable through the floor no problem. So I can get the RF mounted in range. The problem is the cable will need to be aprox 15 feet.
The rest of the RA is going to be in the sump room.
